Unit submissions and planned submissions by NYIP Student Bruce Warner for assignments by Unit
I've always felt that the wedding photographer should remain invisible. To me, seeing him work without seeing who he is perfectly represents the photographer. I positioned myself on the aisle to capture the entire event, hoping that something similar to this shot would take place showing another photographer working while I was recording a family moment.
Shoot an indoor location portrait showing a three-quarter or full-length view. Try to express the personality of your subject through the objects in the home or work environment that you choose to include in the picture. Make use of fill light or a reflector board, if needed.
Only affiliation with the New York Institute of Photography is that I am a student in the Complete Course in Professional Photography. I highly recommend the institute for your photographic training if you are interesting in taking professional quality photographs, can't get to a regular classroom, and/or want to enroll in the only distance learning school in the top 5 rated photography schools in the USA.
